"Renewable Sources can be key for European energetical self-sufficiency by 2030"

June 3, 2024

How to get there?

According to a report conducted by the Potsdam Institute for Climate Impact Research the cost for this energetical switch means an investment that can rise to 2 trillion €.

An article from Euronews based on the information of the report shares some conclusions, such as:

– How important private and governmental investment can be to this energetical switch.

– The prediction of a considerable reduction in energy costs for consumers.

– The importance of turning the European legislation into a more flexible one.

A change is necessary, but it will cost money and time. As the same article mentions the investigation: “(…) renewable energy supply would need to grow by 20% per year to meet expected power demand by 2030.”

ADDGEN believes that if we all work together, it is possible.
